Eggs slide, and I still cannot believe it
No coating and no oil to speak of, and a fried egg walks straight out of the pan. I kept testing it for a week waiting for the trick to wear off. It has not.

Lifetime Warranty
Every piece is guaranteed for life against defects in materials and workmanship. If a fault ever shows in the titanium, the base or the handle, we repair or replace it.
Because there is no coating, there is no coating to fail. The thing that ends most pans, a non-stick layer that wears through in two or three years, does not exist here. The cooking surface is the metal itself, and it darkens into a patina with use rather than breaking down.
The warranty covers manufacturing faults under normal kitchen use. It does not cover ordinary wear, discolouration or patina, warping from thermal shock such as plunging a hot pan into cold water, or damage from misuse. To make a claim, contact our support team with your order number and a photo, and we will make it right.
Care & Maintenance
Medium heat is enough. Titanium conducts heat hard and fast, so it needs a lower setting than the pan you are replacing. Preheat for a minute on medium, then cook. Most sticking is a heat problem, not a pan problem.
A thin film of oil. The hammered face does the release work, but a little oil or butter helps it along, especially with eggs and fish. You will use less than you did with a coated pan.
Hand wash is fastest. Hot water and a soft sponge, and it is clean. Dishwasher safe if you prefer, though there is rarely anything to scrub. Metal utensils, scourers and steel wool will not hurt it.
No seasoning, ever. Nothing to season, nothing to re-season, nothing to strip back. Use it straight out of the box.
Let it cool before washing. Never run cold water into a screaming hot pan. Thermal shock is the one thing that can warp any metal pan, titanium included.

Eggs slide, and I still cannot believe it
No coating and no oil to speak of, and a fried egg walks straight out of the pan. I kept testing it for a week waiting for the trick to wear off. It has not.
Threw out every pan I owned
I had been putting off replacing a set of flaking non-stick for two years. Bought one to test, ordered three more the same week. There is nothing in there to flake.
So much lighter than my cast iron
My wrist is bad and the cast iron had basically retired itself in a cupboard. This one I can lift and toss one handed at full heat.
Metal tongs, no marks
I am rough on pans and I went at it with steel tongs on purpose to see what would happen. Not a scratch on the surface.
Straight from the burner into the oven
Sear the chicken, slide the whole pan into a hot oven, done. One pan and one thing to wash for the entire dinner.
Bought it for the safety, stayed for the cooking
Started reading about what is in non-stick coatings and that is what got me here. What I did not expect is that it just cooks better. Heat is even right out to the rim.
Induction works perfectly
Half the pans I looked at would not run on my hob. This one sits down and heats instantly, and it comes back down just as fast when I turn it off.
Takes less heat than I expected
Turn it down a notch from whatever you are used to. Once that clicked, nothing has stuck to it since.

Bare titanium, nothing added
Every SHIROSUKI pan is solid titanium with a hammered cooking face and no coating of any kind. No PFAS, no PTFE, no PFOA, nothing sprayed on that can scratch, peel or end up in your food.
Most pans are designed to fail, forcing you into an endless cycle of replacement.
Non stick pans last only 2 to 3 years. The coating breaks down at high heat, can release harmful chemicals, and eventually peels, leading to constant replacement.
Other pans get damaged quickly by everyday cooking utensils. Spatulas and tongs can scratch the surface, causing the non-stick coating to wear down faster and reducing overall performance.
Standard non stick and ceramic pans create hot spots and cold zones, making consistent, professional quality results impossible.
The SHIROSUKI difference
Every piece is solid titanium, with no coating to wear through. Buy it once and cook on it for the rest of your life.
Every piece is solid titanium with nothing sprayed on it. No PFAS, no PFOA, no PTFE, and no synthetic layer sitting between your food and the metal. The surface is the metal itself, not a treatment applied over aluminium, so metal utensils and scourers do it no harm.
Coated cookware caps out early, because the coating starts to break down long before the metal does. Titanium holds its structure through serious heat and comes back down just as fast.
Titanium carries the strength of steel at a fraction of the weight, so even the larger pieces stay easy to lift, tilt and move around a hob.
A non-stick coating wears through in two or three years and takes the cookware with it. There is nothing here to wear through, so the surface darkens into a patina with use rather than breaking down, and every piece is guaranteed for life.
Engineered to outlast
Every pan we ship is solid titanium, built to outcook and outlast the coated pans already in your cupboard.

Covered by our lifetime warranty.
Everything worth knowing before your blade ships.
Who makes these knives?
Every blade is made in Seki, Japan, a city known for over seven hundred years of blade-making. Each knife is folded, ground, and finished by hand in a small family workshop there, then sold direct through this store with no dealer in between.
Is this real Damascus steel, or just an etched pattern?
Real. The pattern is not printed or etched on. It is 67 actual layers of steel, folded and forge-welded around a hardened VG-10 cutting core, then hand-finished in Seki so the flowing suminagashi grain runs all the way through the blade. No two are identical.
How sharp is the edge out of the box?
Razor sharp and ready to cook. Each blade is hand-honed to a 12 to 15 degree edge before it leaves Seki, far finer than a typical Western knife, so it glides through tomatoes, fish and herbs from the very first cut.
Will it stay sharp, or dull in a few weeks?
It holds. The VG-10 core is hardened to 60 ±2 HRC, harder than the soft stainless used in most store-bought knives, which is why it keeps its edge for months of regular use rather than weeks.
What happens when it eventually needs sharpening?
You never pay to keep it sharp. When the edge finally needs work, send the knife back and we sharpen it for free, for as long as you own it. Most owners only need this about once a year.
Which knife should I choose?
Start with the Chef knife (Gyuto) or the Santoku for everyday work, both handle almost everything. Add the Nakiri for vegetables and the Kiritsuke for clean, precise slicing. The matched set shares the same steel and finish across every blade.
How do I care for my knife?
Hand wash with warm water and dry it right after use, and store it on a magnetic strip or in a guard rather than loose in a drawer. Keep it out of the dishwasher. Use it on wood or soft plastic, never glass, stone or ceramic.
How fast will my order arrive, and where does it ship from?
Shipping is free on every order. Orders are processed within 1 to 4 business days and most arrive within 2 to 4 weeks. Each knife is made by hand in Seki, Japan, and tracking is emailed the moment yours is on its way. There is nothing to pay on arrival.
What if it is not the right knife for me?
Cook with it and put it to work. If it is not for you, return it within 30 days for a full refund, with no restocking fee.
What does the lifetime warranty cover?
Every blade is guaranteed for life against manufacturing defects in the steel, the edge and the handle. It does not cover normal wear or damage from misuse, such as cutting bone or frozen food, prying, or dishwasher damage.
Why is a knife like this priced the way it is?
Because we sell direct. A blade like this normally passes through an importer, a distributor and a shop, each adding margin. Buying straight from the workshop means you pay for the steel and the craft, not the markup in between.
Do they make a good gift?
One of the best. Each knife arrives in protective packaging ready to give, and a blade like this gets used for decades. It is covered by the same lifetime guarantee and free sharpening even as a gift.
